Very good location, on the highway and it's a compound of hotel, restaurant and gas so very convenient, and easy access to Trans-Canada highway. The outside building is quite old but the owner really take their time to renovate the inside and especially the bathroom, makes it a very pleasant stay. One thing I must say is the management team is very responsible, shoutout to Jaric the manager. I forgot to take back the $200 damage deposit (charged on a debit card so have to get a refund instead of releasing authorization like how credit card works), and they kindly return the deposit through e-transfer, thank you very much guys!
Awesome retro! Reminds me of my childhood vacations. Nice flower curtains. The shower is nice and hot, and the room was quite clean. The folks at the front desk were positive and super helpful. Thanks for a great stay!
We had 2 rooms between our family. Both had double beds. Both same price. The one room was very clean and had been updated with a modern shower and bedding.... Buuut ours had a 24 box of empties forgotten when cleaned last, was stuck in the 80s and had a lot of mold in the teeny tiny shower all the way up... Was really disappointed that they were the same price... The restaurant was awesome! Huge portions too. Usually I can eat a whole meal but not here.
super comfy beds, but that's about it! rooms. were clean and on the smaller side , rooms have central air, but it was still very humid. but priced according . staff was amazing. very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant had amazing food and great cheesecake
The bed was comfortable, the room was small but clean - I was completely satisfied. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, this was just the motel. It’s an older motel, but hey, everything gets older over time, that’s no drawback! I had a great experience staying there.
Most of the reviews are grossly exaggerated in comparison to my friend and I’s experience. The room was clean and not tiny as some other reviews would have you believe (okay yes the room isn’t modern-looking but: who cares?), also they accomodated the fact we arrived and departed while the desk was closed. My only complaint is that they forgot to leave a pen for me to sign the receipt.
If you want a meal that will fill you up this is the place. Quick service, amazing food, and a great cup of mud. You dont need to try the fancier places when you can get a portion so big you may require a takeout box. Treat your tastebuds to some great homestyle food
The room was a good size, bed was sort of comfy lol no air conditioning. Could use more towels in the room. Its a cheap place to stay. Service was great, their baked cookies in the store are amazing Would probably stay here again.
